About the shop
- Where is Southington Security located?
- Our store is conveniently located at 685 Queen Street, Suite 2, in Southington, Connecticut 06489. We serve the entire Southington community and its surrounding towns of central Connecticut.
- What are your store hours, and how do I reach you?

- How long have you been in business?
- Established in 1977 by Lester H. Harris, the business is still family owned by Diane Wade, who manages the complete Southington Security operation. We have been a family owned lock, safe, and security business serving the Southington community and its surrounding towns for almost 50 years.
- Are your locksmiths certified?
- Yes. Our wide range of locksmith services are performed by a Certified Professional Locksmith.
- What areas do you serve?
- We cover all of central Connecticut as well as the entire Southington, Connecticut area and its surrounding communities. We provide sales, service, installation, and repairs.
- Do you offer free security consultations?

- What commercial locksmith services do you provide?
- We offer electronic access control, Grade 1 hardware, master key systems, high security and restricted key systems, keyless entry, mortise locks serviced and installed, keys made, locks re-keyed, ADA hardware, door closers and continuous hinges, and panic hardware. We handle Commercial Accounts, Contract Accounts, and Contract Maintenance Service.

- Can you re-key the locks on my home?
- Yes. We re-key locks, install hardware, and offer padlocks available keyed to most house keys. All work is always unconditionally guaranteed.
- Do you carry decorative door hardware?
- Yes. We carry a large selection of distinctive, decorative hardware to choose from, including the latest in EMTEK products. We use only top quality brand name locks and hardware, not your home store quality. Come visit our store to see our display of quality decorative hardware and locks for your home.

Safes
Safe sales & service
- Do you sell and service safes, and which brands do you carry?
- Yes — safes are sold, serviced, and installed. We carry safes to meet all your security needs, including gun locks and gun safes, cash handling, residential safes, commercial safes, and document chests, with top brands like AMSEC and Gardall.
- Can you open or repair a safe I already own?
- We service all brands of safes. These services include opening, repairing, and installing safes. We also provide combination changes and upgrades to electronic safe locks.
